Bryant Products Names Steve Wright COO

July 8, 2015 — Steve Wright has joined Bryant Products as chief operating officer of the company.  Bryant Products is a leading manufacturer of standard and specialty pulleys, rollers, and take-up units.

Wright comes to Bryant Products from Timken Drives, where he most recently served as the general manager of operations. Wright was an instrumental leader in the cultural and quality transformation at Timken Drives. In 2014 Wright led Timken Drives to its most profitable year in more than 50 years of business as the company achieved record productivity, record cost of quality, and achieved Deere Partner status as one of John Deere Harvester’s elite suppliers. Timken Drives also received the Timken Quality award as one of the elite plants within the Timken Company.

Wright not only brings extensive manufacturing operations experience to Bryant, he also brings significant experience in Quality Assurance. Wright was quality assurance manager for Drives for seven years, where he led the transformation of its quality system and took the company through ISO 9000 and American Petroleum Institute (API) certifications. He’s a Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor through the American Society for Quality, and holds a degree in management of technology.

Bryant Products, founded in 1981, produces precision conveyor components, take-up frames, pulleys, rollers, and specialty machinery for warehousing, distribution, mining, and baggage applications. The company, which has several patents, including for its AirForm brand of tapered steel conveyor rollers and precision formed convey pulleys and print rolls, and is known for its innovation and quick response to customer requests.
